At World of Rice, we take great pride in the quality of every grain we send to you. If something isn't right with your order, we want to make it right. Please read this policy to understand how we handle returns and refunds.

Our Commitment to Quality

Every product we sell is carefully sourced from farmers, hygienically processed, and quality-checked before dispatch. Because our products are food items — perishable by nature — we are unable to accept returns of opened or used products except in cases where there is a genuine quality issue or error on our part.

Eligibility for Refund or Replacement

We offer refunds or replacements based on the following criteria:

Timeframe for Raising a Complaint

All refund or replacement requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery for perishable and food products. For damaged or tampered packaging, please raise the complaint on the day of delivery itself. Requests raised after this window may not be entertained.

How to Request a Refund or Replacement

Follow these steps to initiate a return or refund request:

Contact Us — Email theworldofrice@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 98109 61282 within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Share Evidence — Provide your order number, description of the issue, and clear photographs of the damaged/incorrect product and its packaging.

Review — Our team will review your request within 2 business days and respond with a resolution.

Resolution — Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. Replacements are dispatched within 3-5 business days of approval.

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method:

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched from our warehouse. To cancel, contact us immediately at +91 98109 61282 or theworldofrice@gmail.com with your order number.

If your order has already been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return request upon delivery as per the conditions above.

For prepaid orders successfully cancelled before dispatch, a full refund will be issued within 5-7 business days.

Damaged in Transit

If your package arrives visibly damaged:

We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you for all confirmed transit damage cases.

Exchange Policy

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to replace a product with a different variety, please request a refund for the original item (if eligible) and place a fresh order for your preferred product.
