At World of Rice, we ensure that your premium heritage rice reaches you fresh, securely packaged, and on time. This policy explains how we process, pack, and ship your orders across India.

Order Processing

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, we begin processing within 1-2 business days. Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or during festive seasons may take an additional 1-2 days to process.

You will receive an order confirmation email with your order details. A second notification with your tracking number will be sent once your order is dispatched.

The applicable shipping charge will be calculated and displayed clearly at checkout before payment, based on your delivery address and order total.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary during peak seasons, public holidays, or due to unforeseen disruptions such as extreme weather or logistics delays beyond our control.

Shipment Tracking

Once dispatched, you will receive an SMS and/or email with your tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. You can also track your order by logging into your account on worldofrice.in under 'My Orders'.

If you have not received a tracking update within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us.

Packaging

All our products are:

Delivery Attempts

Our logistics partners will attempt delivery up to 3 times at your specified address. If delivery is unsuccessful after 3 attempts, the package will be returned to us.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery is available on select orders and pin codes. COD availability and any applicable surcharge will be indicated at checkout. Please have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery. COD orders are subject to a nominal convenience fee of Rs. 30-50 depending on your location.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship only within India. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or to certain remote areas where reliable courier service is unavailable. If your pin code is not serviceable, you will be notified at checkout.

For bulk or institutional orders (restaurants, hotels, corporate gifting), please contact us directly for customised delivery arrangements.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

In the rare event that your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us within 24-48 hours of delivery (or of the expected delivery date, in case of non-delivery). We will initiate an investigation with our logistics partner and provide a resolution as per our Refund Policy.

Bulk and Corporate Orders

For large orders (above 20 kg or above Rs. 10,000) or corporate gifting requirements, we offer customised shipping solutions including scheduled delivery and gift packaging. Please contact us at hello@worldofrice.in or call us directly to discuss your requirements.
